The Stories Between the Monuments
Starseed Türkiye Adventure 2026 was shaped as much by the people we met as the places we visited. Before the sacred sites, archaeological treasures, and ancient landscapes, there were shared meals, unexpected encounters, and moments of generosity that could never have been planned.
Gallery One explores the human side of the adventure. Gallery Two continues into the monuments, museums, sacred sites, and ancient places that drew us to Türkiye.

We Lost Two Hours.
The Istanbul Archaeological Museums delivered one of the adventure’s earliest surprises.
For two Starseeds, myself included, the experience began the instant we crossed the threshold of the main archaeological building. Perception sharpened. Details became more vivid. Before we had explored a single gallery, something had already shifted.
Only later did we learn that the monumental figure standing at the entrance was Bes, the ancient Egyptian protector of thresholds, households, and sacred spaces.
Inside the Museum
We continued into the Classical Greece galleries and became completely absorbed. The space itself was not particularly large, a central hall with an adjoining room, yet object after object invited closer attention. Conversations unfolded naturally. Observations were shared. Time quietly slipped away.
When the driver called to arrange pickup, we realized nearly two hours had passed without anyone noticing.
As a group, we decided to stay longer.
During this additional exploration, two Starseeds independently reported a spinning sensation while visiting an upper-floor gallery. One immediately connected it to a similar experience during our group visit to the Heraklion Archaeological Museum on Starseed Greece Adventure.
Different experiences. Different locations.
What everyone shared was a reluctance to leave.
We lost two hours in the Classical Greece galleries.

Shared Tables
Morning breakfasts in İzmir, where our days began overlooking the Aegean.
Rooftop drinks.
Impromptu mezze stops.
Pistachio coffee in Şanlıurfa.
An abundant picnic in Priene.
Chicken kebabs that somehow survived from one stop to the next.
The food was never the purpose of the adventure, yet it became part of the shared rhythm.
Meals became natural reset points between days of exploration.

Shared Plates
A few glimpses of the tables, cafés, rooftops, and roadside stops that became part of our shared adventure.
Unexpected Kindness

A wedding invitation.
Shepherd children tending flocks near Karahantepe.
Food shared freely, and generosity returned.

Donkey rides offered in return.
A spontaneous motorcycle ride through the old town so one of our Starseeds could join us for drinks.
Custom drinks created by expert hands.
Plates of food appearing complements of the various establishments.
What stayed with me most was not simply a monument or an artifact.
It was the warmth.
Not hospitality offered because it was expected.
Simply kindness offered because it could be.
Beyond Hospitality
By the end of the adventure, two different people insisted I was Turkish. I had to explain that I wasn’t, but I quietly took it as one of the greatest compliments I received.
I wasn’t the only one either.
Starseed Bhutan Adventure

After Türkiye, our journey continues into the Himalayan Kingdom of Bhutan.
Ancient monasteries, mountain valleys, living spirituality, and a culture that continues to prioritize wellbeing over growth.
